My childhood friend Victoria started her own handmade jewelry business and sells her beautiful creations on Etsy, V. ROBB DESIGNS. She recently sent Sunny some hair bows! Bless her heart she believes that someday Sunny will get  some more hair.

They're awesome because they stay in Sunny's hair and sit up high on her head! No more calling my girl a boy! Don't let the pictures fool you, she loves her bows! What she doesn't love is me wrestling her to the ground and holding down her arms in an attempt to get a photo for our blog.

Thank you VERY VERY much Victoria! And a special shout out to Victoria's new son, Lincoln. He is so cute, I would like to pick him up and carry him home, but she really really loves him and she uses cloth diapers and is breastfeeding. In other words Lincoln would get here and beg to go home to his Mama!

Oh Sunny, I'll have to buy this one just for you!

The morning I gave birth to Sunny, Matt gave me my "G" necklace. Now every night while I nurse her she holds on to it for security. I  have a lot of beautiful jewelry but my necklace means the most to me. Long after she out grows nursing and being rocked to sleep  I'll have the memory of her little chubby hand wrapped securely around my throat. (That reads badly doesn't it?)

Lets try this, one day when she's grown and I'm screaming at her through her shut bedroom door I'll remind her that she use to love to hold on to me and fall into a deep sleep! Then I'll touch my "G" necklace and make her feel very guilty for the first 13 years of her life where I sacrificed everything and created a blog in her honor!
