My husband is a principal of a New York City High School. His school, The Urban Assembly School of Design and Construction, caters to kids who want to spend their high school careers learning about architecture, design, construction management, and engineering.

He and his staff of teachers and professionals have really big and important careers;  to shape the minds of tomorrow. Thank goodness teachers do the work that they do, their heart and vision insures a life rich with gratitude and good karma for the rest of us.

I am so proud of Matt and his committment to his students and their  futures. The past few weeks we’ve tried our hand at working together. He was my client for the first time. Let’s just stay we’ll be sticking to parenting and partnering.

My friend Mary is a VERY talented photographer who specializes in family, infant, and maternity photography.

Some thoughts- when creating a video it’s very important to create a mood. I use backgrounds to add layers, and the backgrounds are actually the  families photos that I animated and distorted. The song is “Baby Mine” by Alison Krauss, some of you might recognize it from the film DUMBO. Haunting and beautiful Mary’s photos make the most magical videos.
